GoFish turns the world’s waterways into your fishing playground, all without ever leaving the simulator.
Under the hood, GoFish uses a real species database powered by scientific occurrence data (OBIS + GBIF) and a custom WASM engine. Every catch is driven by where you are, the current month, time of day, and whether you’re in freshwater, saltwater, or brackish environments.
With over 200 distinct species, each with realistic habitats, sizes, seasons, and rarity, you’ll always have something new to discover as you explore the globe.
An integrated in‑sim EFB app (tablet-style interface) handles everything: starting/stopping fishing, choosing bait and line, managing reel and drag, and reviewing your catch history. Whether you’re a simmer who wants a relaxing activity between flights or a completionist hunting rare trophies, GoFish layers a friendly fishing game directly into MSFS 2024.
