Binoculars Mode in ChasePlane lets you zoom in with precision without interrupting your flight. No need to fumble with controls, just hold a button to get a closer look at distant aircraft, ground details, or airport signage in real time.
Perfect for situational awareness, spotting traffic, or capturing detailed shots without breaking immersion. When you’re done, simply release the button and return to your normal view instantly.
Spot View
Stay Centered.
In the default sim, the outside view feels more like a first-person shooter or a racing game, with the camera locked behind the aircraft.
With ChasePlane, the aircraft stays centered on your screen, just like in classic versions of Flight Simulator. This familiar perspective makes it easier to track your plane’s movements, frame cinematic shots, and enjoy a more natural flying experience.
Smart Views
We're also innovating in the way you select those views. With Smart View, you can simply look in the general direction of an instrument view, and with a click, switch to that view temporarily.
Look there, Go there.
Using SmartView is super easy. You're already using the right mouse button to look around. While looking in the direction of a saved view, simply click with the left mouse button to go to that view.
To show the view labels, simply hold down both mouse buttons down.
This also works with TrackIR, that means you can look at the instrument with your head and go to it with a single button press.

Cinematics Mode is part of the DNA of ChasePlane. It allows you to observe your aircraft at cruise like it's an airliner commercial. You can manually enable Cinematics Mode or let it auto-enable at cruise. It works automatically regardless of the aircraft you're flying.

ChasePlane is a complete override of the default camera system in Microsoft Flight Simulator. It allows for powerful camera control, customization, and physics. This means that all your camera controls will now be assigned via ChasePlane instead of the "Controls Options" section of the simulator.
