The SimFX Framework

737 Immersion was built on top of the SimFX Framework. This means that you get the best combination of effects and customizability via the SimFX interface. SimFX is required for 737 Immersion to work.

Swirling Contrails

Our advanced technology generates impressive trailing contrails, bringing a new level of visual detail to your flights.

At cruising altitude, switch to an external view and watch the 737 paint the sky.

Condensation Effects

The 737 Immersion package brings realistic wing condensation, engine vapor, and flap vortices to life. These effects shift with the aircraft and weather conditions, responding to detailed atmospheric factors.

As humidity rises, moisture becomes visible above the wings, and stunning vortices appear during takeoffs and landings!

Waste Water Drain

The 737's drainage system releases gray water and other waste fluids while in flight.

With the 737 Immersion package, you’ll witness this system at work, usually around every hour.

Engine Cold Start

On brisk mornings or chilly nights, watch as clouds of condensation and vapor shoot into the crisp air when the engines roar to life. The level of detail in these effects makes you practically feel the cold.

Every cold start turns into a captivating display.

St-Elmo's Fire

During severe thunderstorms & typically at cruise altitudes, watch as luminous electrical discharges light up the windshield, creating an enchanting visual effect. This rare plasma event occurs during thunderstorms, when high voltage differentials between clouds and the ground bring the skies to life.

Every flight now becomes a captivating spectacle of nature's power.

Carbon Brake Dust

As the 737's carbon brakes engage during taxi, fine brake dust is released and builds up. Once the aircraft lifts off, the airflow clears this dust just as the landing gear retracts.

Watch closely, and you’ll catch the brake dust plumes right after takeoff.

Water droplets

Water droplets visibly drip from the wings, fuselage, and various parts of the aircraft.

These drops are dynamically generated, shifting based on the intensity of the rain and how wet the aircraft gets over time.

Supported Airframes

737 Immersion works with the iFly and PMDG 737 offerings. Other select offerings to follow.
Effect availability can change from rendition to rendition as detailed below.

The best work with the best

We're proud to have worked directly with the iFly team to ensure that the 737 Immersion features function at total capacity. This relationship-building between companies makes all the difference in your overall customer experience. No wondering about "supported liveries," fiddling with .cfg's, or any other ragtag approaches; just complete functionality.
