Parallel 42 Welcomes Nick Hesler as Community Engagement Coordinator

We're excited to welcome Nick Hesler, known in the community as NickFlightX, to the Parallel 42 team as our new Community Engagement Coordinator.

Nick brings an energy that's hard to miss, whether it's online or in-person; he's powered by good vibes and a deep passion for flight simulation. Many of you already know him through his content and his presence in the community, and we're thrilled to have him officially joining our crew.

As //42 continues to grow, especially following the recent ChasePlane soft launch, it's become clear that we need more focused energy on the community side of our business. With a full public launch still ahead, the wave will only get bigger, but we need to ensure our core team can stay locked in on development and driving the company forward.

Our approach has always leaned towards the Skunk Works style: we work on really unique projects, quietly, intensely, and often out of view. But building in the dark doesn't mean avoiding public interaction, far from it. If anything, the demand for connection, conversation, and clarity has only grown alongside our product line.

The truth is, it's been tough juggling both the kitchen and the front of house with just one or two people. And while we've managed to keep things going, it's not sustainable if we want to keep raising the bar. That's where Nick comes in.

Basically, if it involves the Community, Nick will be involved. You'll spot him across all our social platforms, interacting with his trademark energy. Expect upbeat replies, increased community engagement, and a more significant public presence. Nicks' smile can probably be seen from FL400, and he runs entirely on good vibes; there's no doubt he's the right guy.

This new role gives us breathing room to push ahead while ensuring your voices are heard, feedback is gathered, and the same casual, human energy you've come to expect from //42 is maintained across every platform and interaction.

Nick and I go way back, years of friendship built through our shared love of flight sim, so I couldn’t be happier to welcome him in an official capacity. He’ll likely be keeping an eye on the comments, so feel free to drop a note. And if you’re heading to FSExpo in Providence, be sure to stop him and say congrats in person!
