Today, we're excited to announce Ed Correia as our new Head of Operations. With deep roots in the flight sim industry, Ed is loved by many and has always demonstrated a talent for connecting great people and companies. These strengths are essential for a growing company like //42, where partnerships and vision play a major role in scaling up and enhancing customer experiences.
Ed's knack for balancing efficiency with personal connections makes him the perfect fit for our shift into 2025. He's also well-versed in all the systems we currently use, and those we don't know we need yet. His insights will be invaluable in streamlining processes, ensuring we are aligned with our customers, and driving long-term business growth through new partnerships.
As Managing Director, I'm eager to have him assist with everything from biz dev discussions to day-to-day operations—because, after all, two Eds are better than one! Keven Menard, our Technical Director, is just as excited to have Ed on board. With multiple projects running at any given time, Keven knows Ed's guidance will be key in keeping everything running smoothly without missing a beat.
Introduced to us many moons ago by Orbx founder and former CEO John Venema, Ed has been a strong supporter of our vision from the start. We weren't even a company back then! Now, as an official part of our team, we're confident his networking and operational skills will lead us to new milestones.
