Compatible Aircraft
SimFX enhances your Microsoft Flight Simulator by improving its core default effects and introducing a slew of entirely new visual enhancements.
Default sim effects replaced by SimFX require them to be present on the aircraft in the first place. For example, if the aircraft doesn't have default heat blur, SimFX may not render heat blur.
—
Any
Means that the effect can attach to any aircraft that would typically display the effect.
Most
Means that the effect will work on most aircraft with few exceptions, for example if an aircraft is encrypted or if the aircraft was coded in a way that doesn't enable effects replacement.

Marketplace/Premium
Aircraft acquired via the in-sim Marketplace or included in the Premium version of MSFS are encrypted. This encryption makes it impossible for SimFX to gain access to some important information regarding attach points and aircraft geometry. For this reason, heat blur effects may not be available or may lack precision on encrypted aircraft.
Coding Method
Some aircraft are simply coded in a way that prevents us from injecting certain effects. Those are typically limited to default sim effects that have been replaced by the aircraft developer.
