ChasePlane

I get an error from ChasePlane telling me it fixed a corrupt configuration.

Restart your simulator or reset the cameras.cfg file

ChasePlane uses its own cameras definitions in FSX/P3D and does not use the built-in cameras. You must change the camera angles through ChasePlane, not in the sim. If this is already the case, something might have gone wrong in your cameras.cfg file. Try restarting the simulator and if that does not fix the issue, try the following steps:

  1. Shutdown the simulator
  2. Navigate to the AppData folder corresponding to your simulator
    • %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5
    • %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4
    • %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3
    • %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2
    • %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX-SE
    • %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX
  3. Remove the Cameras.cfg file
  4. Launch your simulator without ChasePlane and wait for the scenario screen to appear
  5. Shutdown the simulator
  6. Launch ChasePlane (a message will appear about it fixing things)
  7. Launch the simulator
